Stuff.
It's all around us.
Just look around.
It's there.
I like to think myself a connoisseur on all things neat and
interesting. Weird and curious is welcome too.
So if you have something you think might belong
in the bin, drop me a note.
I am looking for cat pictures. Your cat. Do you have a cat?
Dogs will do too. Or any animal you take care of.
How about we make a
PET
section.

Conspiracy Theories
September, 2004
I am interested in conspiracy theories, only when they are well sorted out and have evidence to back them up. America has seen several public ones in the last year, one of which was sent to me by a friend in New York. Here is a flash movie which evaluates the Pentagon's building damage in the September 11th attacks.

The website promoting this movie touches upon an organization that could possibly be to blame.
I myself have a different story to tell, whether it's related to this or not I find it interesting. On the morning of September 11th, like many of you, I was attached to the media. I had just got into work when I heard. There was the radio playing and we were reading the news on all the papers we could find online (since there was no TV in the office).
I distinctly remember hearing a female radio broadcaster that was near the Pentagon, covering a story that there was yet another plane ready to hit it. Shortly after reporting this she said that there were plans to shoot it down before it hit. I remember thinking how horrible that would be, to be in the plane and getting shot down by your own country. Nothing else was ever said about that and about an hour later stories about some heroes on the plane gallantly wrestling the terrorists down, resulting in the plane crashing into a field. I even remember seeing it covered on television, there were bits of debris everywhere, a complete mess. I've never seen a plane crash so devastating. It looked blown up.
Don't get my skepticism wrong. I think a little part of everyone died that day. Those towers in New York will forever remain in my memory. Those poor people. But sometimes you cannot trust the media to report the truth.
